1. Who we are

SAC Facades Pty Ltd provides aluminium window, door and façade design, fabrication and installation services. Our contact details are listed at the end of this policy.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you deal with us, we may collect:

• your name, business, email address, telephone number and preferred contact method
• project addresses, drawings, specifications, files, photographs, budgets, programmes and enquiry details
• communications, quote information and records connected with a project
• website attribution data such as the page used to submit an enquiry, UTM campaign values, gclid or fbclid values when present in the URL
• technical information ordinarily recorded by hosting infrastructure, such as IP address, browser type, date, time and requested pages.

Please do not include sensitive personal information in a project enquiry unless it is genuinely necessary and we have agreed to receive it.

3. How we collect information

We collect information directly from you when you use the enquiry form, call, email, provide project documents, request a quote or otherwise work with us. We may also receive project contact details from a builder, architect, consultant, developer or another person involved in the same project.

4. Why we use it

We use personal information to respond to enquiries, assess and price work, provide design and specification assistance, manage fabrication and installation, communicate about projects, keep business records, improve our services, secure the website and meet legal obligations.

5. Website attribution and local storage

The website may retain campaign values from the page address in your browser's local storage so that an enquiry can be attributed to its original source. These values are placed into hidden fields when the enquiry form is submitted. You can clear local storage through your browser settings.

6. When information may be disclosed

We may disclose relevant information to service providers that help us operate the website, communications and project systems; professional advisers; manufacturers, suppliers, subcontractors and consultants involved in a project; and government, regulatory or law-enforcement bodies where required or authorised by law. We do not sell personal information.

7. Overseas processing

Some technology service providers may store or process information using infrastructure outside Australia. Provider locations can change. You may contact us if you require current information about the services used for a particular interaction.

8. Security and retention

We take reasonable administrative and technical steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. We retain records only for as long as reasonably required for the purposes described above, project administration, warranty records and applicable legal obligations.

You may ask to access personal information we hold about you or request a correction. We may need to verify your identity. In some circumstances Australian law permits or requires us to refuse access, in which case we will explain the reason where we can.
